ATTIRE

What to wear

The most important thing to us is that all of our guests are comfortable so that they can truly enjoy the weekend. For those of you that have asked, below are images as well as weather and footwear attire suggestions that will ensure everyone is prepared and ready to celebrate with us all weekend long. We can't wait to see you!

Thursday

NAUTICAL BY NATURE IS meant to welcome everyone to the Carmel area in a fun and lighthearted way. Dock shoes, wedges and captains hats are all appropriate; Feel free to get creative and have fun with it. Thursday night's event is on a wooden pier at Pebble beach, the forecast shows a high of 70 degrees and a low of 53, so bring a wrap or light jacket for the evening after sunset.

Friday

Friday night’s dinner is cocktail attire, so jackets are encouraged for men, but it is not a formal event so embrace the location and take a California casual approach to cocktail. The dinner is on a lawn, so wedges, platforms and flats are suggested over stilettos. The forecast shows a high of 71 and a low of 52 degrees.

Saturday

While we want our wedding day to feel formal, that certainly doesn't mean traditional or stuffy. We want you to embrace your personal style, whether that's by wearing a bold color, unique print, or embracing an unusual hemline. Our ceremony is taking place in an area where the ground is uneven and there will be some (optional) walking from the cocktail area to the dinner reception, so please keep that in mind when packing your footwear. The Carmel Valley often cools down in the evening, so a shrug or shawl is suggested for ladies in the evening.
